Refurbished Hitachi Airis Elite Open MRI — Hitachi Medical Systems' (now Fujifilm Healthcare) 0.3T permanent-magnet open MRI, designed around a true open vertical-field architecture for patient comfort. The Airis Elite refresh brought improved gradient performance, an updated coil suite, and a refined console workflow over the original Airis II / Airis Mate platform. Pairs a 0.3T permanent magnet with full open patient access — no closed-bore tunnel — and a clinical coil set covering head, cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and large-joint orthopedic imaging. The permanent-magnet design eliminates helium and cryogen logistics entirely, removes the need for a quench pipe, and dramatically lowers operating cost versus a 1.5T superconducting system. Typical clinical scope covers the standard open-MRI workload: spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), large-joint orthopedic (knee, shoulder, hip, ankle), extremity, head, and routine outpatient body protocols — the cases that drive orthopedic, chiropractic, pain-management, and primary-care referrals.
