TOF LYSO 64-slice PET/CT
Refurbished GE Discovery 690 64 PET/CT (LYSO) — GE Healthcare's premium TOF PET/CT of the Discovery generation, pairing a 64-slice CT base with LYSO (lutetium yttrium orthosilicate) PET detectors and Time-of-Flight reconstruction. The LYSO detector chain dramatically improves count statistics and small-lesion conspicuity vs. BGO. With VUE Point FX/HD reconstruction (and optional Q.Clear), the Discovery 690 became the workhorse for high-volume oncology programs, cardiac PET, drug-trial sites, and premium outpatient imaging. Compared to the Discovery 710, the 690 is the same family/chassis at a typically lower acquisition cost, often without the latest software bundle. Compared to the Discovery MI, the 690 trades digital silicon-photomultiplier detectors for analog photomultiplier-tube LYSO at a meaningfully lower capital cost. MIS handles sourcing, refurbishment, deinstall, transport, install, applications training, parts inventory (including LYSO module support), and engineer-led service.
